General Fundraisers

These general fundraisers benefit all students in all KPAB Programs.  They pay for general administrative expenses, some financial aid and KPAB Senior Scholarships.  Money raised from these fundraisers over and above administrative expenses is distributed to the programs.  Money donated to these general fundraisers is generally tax deductible.  Please see your tax advisor for more information.

Patron of the Arts
Patrons are Kamiak families, community members and local businesses that make financial contributions in support of all of the Performing Arts programs at Kamiak High School.

We welcome Patrons of the Arts to contribute at any time during the year.  Those that contribute in early fall will be recognized in our concert programs.   All Patrons of the Arts donations are tax deductible as allowed for 501c3 charitable organizations.  Questions: patron@kamiakarts.org

Individual Student Account Fundraisers (ISAF)
KPAB offers several fundraisers throughout the year where students can raise money for their individual student accounts.
  • All money raised through ISAF must be used for student program expenses and cannot be refunded.
  • For each ISAF 80% of the profits for each item is credited to the students account.  10% goes to the program of their choice and 10% goes to administrative expenses.  Profits vary by fundraiser.
  • Money paid to support individual student account fundraisers is not tax deductible.

Scrip
Scrip is available throughout school year.  Scrip is a fundraising program where families can buy gift cards to use or give as a gift.  Each gift card is purchased for and worth the face value.  A percentage of the value (varies by business) will be applied to the students account for program expenses.

Businesses vary and include grocery stores, theatres, gas stations, clothing stores, book stores, and online stores like Amazon.  A complete list of the gift cards and percentage earned is listed on the Great Lakes Scrip website under retailer list.
